The students will be divided into groups of 4-5 to attend these ‘informal classes’, he added.
Mr Sarma further said, that the Institutions that are currently operating as quarantine / isolation centers will not be opened.
“The teachers who have got their covid-19 testing done with negative results shall join the Institutions from September 1 and will supervise proper sanitisation and reorganisation of seating in classrooms to ensure social distancing norms are strictly followed in the Institutes. The funds will be issued and sent to the Institutions within the next few days, he added.
These arrangements will be for informal classes only and the teachers or principals will form groups of Class 12th and final year degree students for the classes.
In middle-primary schools, the students are coming once a week to collect midday meals, which will be now coming twice a week from September 15th. They will be handed over the study material along with a question paper to be submitted in the coming week.
